Addict had no memory of burgling Cork lapdancing club, court told

A lapdancing club was the scene for a burglary but the intruder was so intoxicated during the crime he had no memory of committing it. Now at Cork District Court, Judge John King said he would impose a four-month suspended sentence on 30-year-old Curtis Keniry whose address was given as St. Patrick’s Church, Lower Glanmire Road, Cork. Sergeant Aisling Murphy said at Cork District Court that the incident occurred at Secrets lapdancing club on Leitrim Street, Cork, on December 4, 2025. The solicitor said that unusually, the defendant woke up hours later with property from the club and planned to return to the premises to return the items he had stolen. Judge King said the new four-month sentence would be suspended from the date of his release from the three-month term.
