The National Party is pitting Feilding teenager William Wood, 17, against Labour's Iain Lees-Galloway, a four-term Member of Parliament, in the Palmerston North electorate at the 2020 general election. Wood got the nod at a National Party conference on Sunday night and, if he were to win, he could become the youngest MP in New Zealand's history by nearly three years.
