Aidy Bryant has juggled two jobs for the last three years. “She thinks she’s going undercover, but it becomes this spineless weenie’s journey that shows how misguided she is,” Bryant says. “Particularly performance-wise, it was something I was proud of,” Bryant notes. “In the beginning it was like a classic comedic setup, where it just feels like this awkward date. The final scene brings Annie and Fran together, contemplating the latest messes they’ve made and how they might get out of them.
