Air Cairo to resume flights to Tripoli's Mitiga Airport after long hiatus


The Egyptian airline Air Cairo will resume its flights to Mitiga Airport in Tripoli during the summer season of 2026, after a hiatus of several years. According to a letter from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Ministry of Transport, Government of National Unity, the service will operate on the Cairo-Mitiga-Cairo route from March 29 to October 24, 2026. The airline will operate four weekly flights from Mitiga Airport to Cairo Airport on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, according to the approved flight schedule.
