Chairman of Libya’s High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, held talks on Sunday with Tobias Björn Bacherle, a member of German parliament (Bundestag) at the Council’s headquarters in Tripoli. According to a statement by the council, Al-Mishri, Bacherle and the latter’s accompanying delegation discussed developments in the political process related to holding Libyan elections. “For its part, the German side expressed its country’s strong support for the state of Libya and its stability to cross this stage and reach political stability.”
