Sorsogon province received P10 billion for infrastructure projects in 2018 alone from the national government, Majority Leader Rolando Andaya Jr. said on Wednesday. The projects go to just one contractor.”Andaya said Bulacan-based CT Leoncio Construction and Trading cornered P2.5 billion of the P10 billion released to Sorsogon this year. The status of contractors on the DPWH website showed that CT Leoncio bagged 39 projects, mostly flood and river control, in 2018. In Camarines Sur, CT Leoncio got a fund allocation of P398 million for three projects this year. Palace probePresidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo said on Wednesday that Malacañang would “look into” the controversy involving CT Leoncio Construction.
