On Friday, rapper Mac Miller died of an alleged drug overdose at the age of 26, setting off a chorus of mourning from fellow artists, but also a horde of hate on ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande. Weeks after they split, Miller was in a car accident and charged with a DUI. Fans began to blast Grande on Twitter and Instagram, accusing her of ending the relationship and pushing Miller to drink. Of course I didn’t share how hard or scary it was while it was happening, but it was. On Saturday, the singer addressed Miller’s death by posting a simple black-and-white photo of him on Instagram, with no caption.
