Q My siblings and I have parents in their late nineties. While it is amazing that they have reached this grand age, it also brings certain issues. My father is optimistic and greets each day positively, but my mother is the opposite. She no sooner recovers from one illness than another one pops up — even worse than the last. She can, at times, be quite negative about my father and the help he provides running the house.
