Assessment complete of Charlottetown woman charged in deaths of two infants
CHARLOTTETOWN—The Crown says the psychiatric assessment of a Charlottetown woman accused of causing the death of two infants is complete. Shannon Dawn Rayner’s case is scheduled to return to court on April 9. ( DREAMSTIME file photo )Prosecutor Valerie Moore says Rayner appeared in court on Friday with her lawyer Thane MacEachern, where he requested an adjournment. The case is scheduled to return to court on April 9. The documents allege that in both cases, Rayner put the bodies in bags before placing them in a waste bin.
