A nationwide campaign from Augusto and SAFE For Animals is asking people to call out animal abuse within the farming industry. The campaign sees farm workers switch roles with abused animals and as encourages people to use 0800 EXPOSE, the animal charity’s new phone line for reporting animal abuse in the farming industry. Augusto Commercial Director, Amy Dufty, says the team were “incredibly keen to be involved” when SAFE approached them. Debra Ashton at SAFE says that as part of SAFE’s commitment the phone line aims to get more people, particularly in the agriculture industry and community to report any form of abuse they might see. The phone line is now live.
