The cheapest state for gas on Friday was Oklahoma, at $3.479 per gallon for regular. The average for a gallon of regular in Nevada was $4.2978 one month ago and $3.977 one year ago, according to AAA. Compared to the rest of the state, Elko fuel was considerably cheaper at $4.23 per gallon, according to AAA data.
