At Ruqayyah Hall and Bangladesh-Kuwait Maitree Hall, voting was deferred by several hours after demonstrations by students over alleged ballot paper forgery. BCL candidates swept all posts at Ziaur Rahman Hall, Bijoy Ekattor Hall, Haji Muhammad Mohsin Hall, Sir AF Rahman Hall, Dr Muhammad Shahidullah Hall, SM Muslim Hall and Jagannath Hall. They also won most seats, including vice-president and general secretary, at Bangabandhu Hall, Surja Sen Hall, Fazlul Huq Muslim Hall, Amar Ekushey Hall, and Kabi Jasimuddin Hall. At Zahurul Haque Hall, BCL won the VP post while an independent candidate was elected GS. BCL managed to win the GS post of Bangamata Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall while the VP post went to an independent candidate.
