Haryana BJP spokesperson and Karni Sena president Suraj Pal Amu on Sunday called upon a mahapanchayat in Gurgaon’s Pataudi to “make history” and “not become history”, so that “no Taimur, Aurangzeb, Babur and Humayun are born”. The mahapanchayat was called to discuss religious conversion, ‘love jihad’ and a law to control population. And we are giving them houses and shops, and it has been found in Pataudi their parks have started being built. The party has nothing to do with it.”Amu was appointed Haryana BJP spokesperson in 2013, then served as chief media coordinator between 2014 and 2019. On June 11, he was again appointed spokesperson of BJP in Haryana.
