She was tested Covid-19 positive and was undergoing treatment at Square Hospital. She was a director of Phoenix Insurance Company. She left behind two daughters, grandchildren and a host of relatives to mourn her death. Her daughter Dr Maliha Mannan Ahmed is a prominent researcher and entrepreneur.
