Bauchi State Government has sent to the State House of Assembly five messages requesting it to consider and pass five draft bills into law. Others are Bill for a law to amend Bauchi State Orphans and Vulnerable Children (BASOVCA) Law 2012 and for matter connected therewith 2021, a Bill for a law establishes Bauchi State and Local Governments Contributory Pension Scheme and other related matters and a Bill for a Law to repeal the Bauchi State University establishment law and to enact a law for the establishment of Sa’adu Zungur University and other stated matters. Majority Leader, Tijjani Muhammad Aliyu representing Azare/Madangala Constituency moved a motion calling for the adoption of the 2021/2022 calendar of sittings. The House then refer the Bill to the House Committee on Education giving it three weeks to report back to the House.
