–Accuses govt of promoting censorship in the countryISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Monday called for resignations of National Assembly (NA) Speaker Asad Qaiser and Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri over their ‘biased’ attitude in the House. Bilawal said that three members of the government were given the chance to speak in the House while he was denied the same. He condemned the attitude of the speaker and deputy speaker and demanded that they resign from their posts immediately because they are not impartial and instead “act like an extension of the government”. “Since the general election, I have been saying that our media is facing censorship and those who do not toe the line face repercussions. This does not happen in a democracy; this is not a democratic Pakistan – this is a censored Pakistan,” he said.
