DUNEDIN – Before spring training even began, Ryan Borucki had the perfect attitude for a second-year player looking to establish himself. So just as the Jays were confirming the signing of veteran Clay Buchholz and acknowledging he is in the mix for a starter’s job, Borucki went back to work. The Illinois native pitched three scoreless innings on Tuesday afternoon in the Jays 5-2 win over the Tigers over in Lakeland. “Whatever happens, happens. “Just keep pitching my game and going out there and just pitching well.”Borucki allowed two hits in his latest effort, the first Jays starter to go three innings this spring training.
