KUALA LUMPUR: A man's body was fished out from the Klang River by the Fire and Rescue Department early on Tuesday morning. A spokesperson from the department said they were called in by the police at around 7am to assist in retrieving the body. City CID chief Senior Asst Comm Rusdi Mohd Isa said they received a call about the body at around 6.25am. “We sent personnel to the stretch of river near the Seri Cempaka flats at Pantai Dalam and saw a body caught among rocks in the river there," he said, adding that the Fire and Rescue Department was called in to assist in retrieving the body. We found a wallet on the body containing a police bail document of a 34-year-old man, as well as a passport photo,” he said, adding that the body was sent to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for a post-mortem.
