Gbarnga – The Liberian Board for Nursing and Midwifery of the Ministry of Health has given accreditation to the Nursing program of the Bong County Technical College (BCTC). Prior to the accreditation by the Liberian Board for Nursing and Midwifery, the college’s students, who are studying Nursing, expressed their dissatisfaction by the lack of accreditation to the institution. The accreditation to the college’s Nursing program is a relief to both students and the administration as students couldn’t hide their excitement. A student of the college who’s studying Nursing, Deborah Matue, said it was now heartening to begin studying Nursing at the college because it has been accredited. Another student, Prince Fineboy, who’s also studying Nursing at the College, said the accreditation is a great relief to students studying Nursing at the college.
