National Economic and Development Authority Secretary Karl Kendrick Tiu Chua. PH SENATE PHOTOTHE Commission on Appointments (CA) on Wednesday confirmed the appointment of Karl Kendrick Chua as Socioeconomic Planning secretary and director general of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA). The CA members agreed that Chua is highly qualified for the socioeconomic planning post. He noted that Chua has logged 18 years of experience in each of the following disciplines: economic policy, fiscal policy, tax administration, political economy and tax policy. Many of the senators aired glowing commendations for Chua, with Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel "Migz" Zubiri saying the NEDA post "fits him like a glove."
