CAFCC: Stakeholders Want Rivers United To Make Nigerians Proud, Today

One of Nigeria’s representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup (CAFCC), Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt will lock horns with El Nasr Benghazi in the second leg of the final qualifier for the group stage of the competition in Libya today. Rivers United, fondly known as Pride of Rivers is on a 5-0 advantage , obtained in the first leg played last week in Port Harcourt at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt. As it stands, United already have one leg in the group stage , unless they suffer an unlikely monumental collapse in Libya today. The Tidesports has learnt that securing the group stage ticket would earn United $600, 000. He said they have no choice than to win for Rivers State and the country at large.
