CBS New York meteorologist Elise Finch, who had been with the WCBS station for 16 years, passed away suddenly over the weekend at the age of 51. “It is with profound sadness that we share news of the passing of our beloved Elise Dione Finch Henriques,” CBS wrote in a report on her death. She was also a wonderful ambassador in the community, including her hometown of Mount Vernon. Heaven now has an angel like no other.”Elise Finch, an Emmy winner, was born and raised in Mount Vernon, New York. She attended Mount Vernon High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
