The presidential candidate of the main opposition political party, the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), Senator George Manneh Weah is expected to be dragged to court on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 based upon compliant filed by one Fefe Hodges that she was flogged with one of arms being disjointed upon orders of Senator Weah. Speaking to the GNN via mobile phone from the Magisterial Court at the Temple of Justice today, Mrs. Hodges said she had gone to Court to file complaint against Senator Weah today for his alleged involvement of ordering her flogging at his birthday party which was held on October 1, 2017. In order to verify this allegation, our staff contacted Sekou Kalacio an executive member of the CDC via mobile phone who denied the allegation, noting that such allegation is unfortunate, and at no time did Senator Weah ordered the flogging of any person during the celebration of his birthday party. For Detail will follow in our subsequent posting at which time we will report directly from the Court on Wednesday, the 11th of October 2017, a date set aside for the appearance of Senator Weah to answer to the allegation leveled against by Mrs. Fefe Hodges.
