The preliminary round will be a written one where 32 questions will be asked and only eight teams will qualify to the next round. Sixty-four questions will be fired in the final round, after which the winners and runners-up will be announced. There is a treat for the audience in the form of The Telegraph round where Prasad Ranjan Ray, former home secretary of the state, will don the cap of the quizmaster. Organiser speak: “This is one of the oldest quizzes in the city, with as many as 200 participants at times. Many people who do not attend other quizzes come here, just to enjoy the electrifying atmosphere,” said Abhijit Banerjee, trustee, Bengal Quiz Foundation.
