Instead, a sign informs drivers that the area is a pedestrian zone, ‘except for buses and access’, with no parking at any time. That’s why we recently installed bollards at Albion St and Henshaw St to help stop vehicles coming into the town centre. “The area leading on to the High Street is a Pedestrian Zone and cars shouldn’t be using it between the hours of 10am and 5pm.
