Whether in the context of growth in production from the prolific shale plays – oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids – and the building of liquified natural gas (LNG) terminals, Canada continues to fall behind. Canada's oilpatch doing itself no favoursBut the Canadian energy sector hasn't done itself any favours, either. Maybe Canadian companies need to work harder to get on the radar screen of the technology and software companies that are already partnering to offer solutions to the major players. Canada's energy sector is frustrated and angry. But it isn't the only energy sector to have faced challenges.
