more-inThe Rotary Club of Chennai Capital will organise the Capital Golf League at the Gymkhana Club Gold Annexe in Guindy at noon on Friday. A total of 108 players will be on the field at the links as part of the nine teams that will play in this fund-raising event that aims to help build a dialysis centre for providing subsidised services to the needy in Chennai, said a press release here. The teams are: Chennai Hindustan Green Masters, Chennai Lollu’s, Chennai Golf Kings, Chennai Sultans of Swing, Chennai Eagles, Chennai Dec Cup, Chennai Golfaholics, Chennai Guindy Hackers and Chennai Swingers and Putters. Each team will have a maximum of 12 players.Members of the public can watch the golfers play at the event that is likely to go on till 5 p.m. The awards night will be held on Saturday evening at Hotel Radisson Blu, which is a closed event.
