2 weeks ago, Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel stormed into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the origin story is already a massive global hit. This makes Carol Danvers a crucial addition to the Avengers, one that is much needed in the upcoming war against Thanos. Going into Captain Marvel, many fans expected the film to hold deep connections to the rest of the Marvel Universe. However, Captain Marvel instead opted to focus on the singular story it was telling. Captain Marvel is now in theaters.
