Other fests are taking a break, but VELD — the annual all-ages electronic-music festival at Downsview Park — announced Monday it’ll be back on the Aug. 3-4 weekend for year eight, with headliners Cardi B, Kygo, Skrillex and Tiesto. Cardi B is not the first rapper to top the bill, but ticket-buyers can only hope that there are no complications; last year Migos hit the stage two hours late and played a truncated set, Lil Uzi Vert couldn’t get across the border in 2017 and Travis Scott was likewise a no-show in 2016.
