Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo- Puyat, National Task Force (NTF) against Covid-19 Chief Implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. and NTF Deputy Chief Implementer Secretary Vince Dizon attended the vaccination roll-out for tourism workers in Cebu. CONTRIBUTED PHOTOTHE Department of Tourism (DoT)'s push to vaccinate tourism frontliners in Cebu continues to gain traction, following the inoculation of 7,764 tourism workers or 51.89 percent of the 15,257 target as of September 22. On the other hand, Cebu City recorded a 60.23 percent vaccination rate or 2,453 tourism workers out of the 4,073 targets. The province of Cebu has vaccinated 1,590 tourism workers or 24.82% of its 6,405 targets. Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat continued to call for a stronger public-private sector coordination to further speed up the coveted immunity among tourism workers.
