The safety of women in the city is being questioned yet again as one more case of serial assault against a Chennai medical student was reported on Saturday night. The student had gone for an outing along with her friends to Mamallapuram and booked a room for the night in a private resort next to the shore temple. She alleged that the man tried to enter her room and seeing her unconscious he molested her. The news about the lack of women's safety is spreading fear among the tourists and might affect the tourism business adversely.
