Choco Mucho even took a 16-15 lead in the first set and saved three set points to get within 22-24 before eventually dropping the set. Such was practically the theme of the game for Choco Mucho in the next two sets, sticking to the Kazakhs for the most part of the set and falling short in the end. Zhetyssu threatened to blow Choco Mucho right away in the third and final set as it went for a 12-5 start, but the Philippine team made the Kazakh squad sweat first, getting within four, 11-15. As the last placer in Pool A, Choco Mucho, is set to battle the second placer in Pool B in a knockout battle for a semifinals spot. The final standings of Pool B shall be determined on Sunday, October 3.
