Once the effect of Cyclone Ockhi wanes around Friday, the minimum temperature is tipped to rise to around 18 degrees Celsius. Cyclone Ockhi, named so by Bangladesh, is currently keeping that system at bay. "The well-marked low-pressure system had been almost static over the Andaman Sea until Monday afternoon. This will increase its distance with the well-marked low-pressure area, lessening its influence. The system would, of course, still take two to three more days to come close enough to inject moisture into Calcutta.
