FLAGLER BEACH ― Construction is set to begin on a Compass by Margaritaville Hotel along the south side of Moody Boulevard/State Road 100, one block from the beach, west of Flagler Beach's Veterans Park. The closest Compass by Margaritaville hotel to Flagler Beach is the Anna Maria Sound location in Bradenton. The lot has been vacant since the Flagler Beach Hotel was torn down, said Johnston. "It's been a long time coming for Flagler Beach," she said of the planned Compass by Margaritaville hotel.
