Conference to showcase region's attractions

Organising committee member Katy Button said there would be lots of activities for delegates in addition to the national awards and a formal dinner. Delegates will be able to take a bus trip to North Otago or explore Cromwell before the official conference opening. Over the course of the conference delegates will be able to go gold mining, have a jet-boat ride, tour dairy developments at Hawea Flats and even visit the National Toy and Transport Museum near Wanaka. The Semex On-Farm Competition awards will be announced on the evening of June 20, followed by the formal dinner where the HFNZ national awards will be held. The HFNZ annual meeting takes place on Thursday morning or alternatively, delegates can explore Bannockburn and have lunch at Mt Difficulty Wines.
