The all-important services sector experienced a post-election boost last month as greater clarity on Brexit led to a recovery in business confidence, according to a closely watched survey. The survey, which is based on responses from 650 services sector companies, was conducted between December 5 and 19. An earlier “flash” estimate, based on 85 per cent of responses, had given an estimate of 49.
