Teltumbde was arrested last week after a Pune court rejected his pre-arrest bail plea. The MRSD has demanded the prosecution of Hindutva leaders Sambhaji Bhide and Eknath Bote, accused in the Bhima Koregaon violence. The meeting, named A Step of Fearlessness: Against the Undeclared Emergency, will oppose the arrests of activists in the Bhima Koregaon case.
