Two members of the same family have tested positive for coronavirus in England - and it is understood they were staying at a Yorkshire hotel. The pair had recently travelled to the UK from China and were transferred to an infectious diseases unit at Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary overnight. The first cases of the virus to be diagnosed in the UK were announced shortly before an evacuation flight carrying 83 Britons, including young children, landed at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. The British nationals were rescued from Wuhan, the city at the centre of the outbreak that has killed more than 210 people in China. Follow our live blog for the latest updates.
