The internal crisis rocking the Lagos State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) may not have abated as the party said on Thursday that its attention has been called to what it termed the “clandestine attempt by some moles and agent provocateurs” within the fold to hastily inaugurate some committees, describing such move as ultra vires and in bad faith. Nigerian Tribune learnt that the inauguration slated for Friday has been scheduled to hold at the party secretariat in Sogunle, Ikeja. “Consequently, the Party is unequivocally dissociated from any planned ‘inauguration’ until so deemed appropriate and directed. “Similarly, the law enforcement Agencies are put on notice to make arrests of those who are behind the planned divisive ‘inauguration’ and who are now declared as Agent provocateurs within the Lagos State PDP‎,” the statement said. Moshood Salvador and his team emerged to lead the state chapter for another term in office.
