While other moderate Democrats are making a late-entry to the pool of potential presidential nominees, New York Gov. Deval Patrick took steps last week to enter the already-crowded Democratic presidential primary contest. It is this logic that is fueling Messrs. Patrick and Bloomberg, but maybe Mr. Cuomo doesn’t see it. While those mere senators and mayors hit the Sunday talk shows, Mr. Cuomo will be watching the Bills at a bar in Albany. “For me, New York never came second and my love for New York never came second,” Mr. Cuomo said.
