The decision was taken after a road accident victim in Subhash Nagar bled to death because no one helped him. The Delhi government will introduce a ‘Good Samaritan Policy’ in the cabinet soon, health minister Satyendar Jain said, on Thursday. Under the scheme, monetary incentive will be given to people who help accident victims. But there is a Supreme Court order which states that a person who helps an accident victim will not be questioned or harassed. The idea was to have help at hand in case of a road accident.
