In the letter, the Progressive Caucus ironically came down on leaks to the press. For the Progressive Caucus, however, that is not obstruction. If the appellate court rules in favor of Moro, Lula's lawyers will likely try appealing to the Supreme Court. It will be a sad day for Lula, his party, and a nation that once held Lula in extremely high regard. To Lula -- and apparently to some in the Democratic Party -- the Petrobras scandal is not on him.
