The coroner found that Mr Nairn’s death could have been prevented had he received information about the risk of myocarditis. However, it is disappointing that no-one will be held accountable for such a needless death and Rory will be missed every day for the rest of our lives." Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora (HNZ) Southern had known since June 2021 myocarditis was a potential reaction to the vaccine.
