An Armed Forces veteran has spoken of his pride at helping to set in motion this year’s Poppy Appeal. Harleston, Norfolk, 01/11/2023The Poppy Appeal in Diss which has been launched at Morrisons for this year, pictured from left Kenny Child Morrisons Community Champion, Robert Rogers (Branch Secretary of Diss and District RBL) and Mary Cotton (Committee Member of Diss and District RBL). “I’ve been a community champion for 15 years and I’m very proud to be involved in the appeal. My role is to liaise with the Diss RBL branch, help them set up and bank the money for them. “Last year, Morrisons raised over £1.8 million for the Poppy Appeal, and we won’t stop there.
