Dadaab MCA Mohamed Abdi has accused his colleagues of politicising the Sh7.9 billion Garissa county budget impasse. “It is high time MCAs realise the budget estimates belong to the people of Garissa, which is bigger than all of us. Addressing the press in Garissa town on Satruday, Abdi said debate on the budget estimates has taken a political turn, adding that some MCAs are not concerned about the needs of residents. Abdi said some MCAs want to shoot down the budget for the sake of it. Governor Nathif Jama met MCAs last week to resolve the stalemate.
