The royal visit was the first activity which kick-started Alao-Akala’s campaign for the upcoming gubernatorial election. “I left N110bn in the coffers but today, Oyo State is in serious debt. ADP is the party that can turn things around and make people happy, I have done it before and we will do it again. Oba Adetunji in his response prayed for Alao-Akala and his team that God will grant his wishes and also prayed that he will have the wisdom to do it right. From the palace, the campaign train moved to Montana, Ibadan, for the commencement of campaigns.
