According to Tien Phong (Vanguard) newspaper, in July 2016, PC49 detected that the company was discharging untreated wastewater into the environment. It also found 1,600 tonnes of hazardous waste buried at four locations of the company. Dong Nai province’s People’s Committee, therefore, asked the company to adopt chemical clearance measures to restore the land.
