So now it appears Doug Ford is casting his eye on Ottawa’s city council. But now we know that Ford musings can quickly turn into action, local democracy and the courts be damned. But it’s important to see what direction Ford is heading in, not just the import of this one action. Doug Ford is not Victor Orban of Hungary, or even Donald Trump. The Ford government has set a foot on a very dangerous road here.
