Gatundu South MP Gabriel Kagombe was on Thursday engaged in a physical altercation with police officers during a public event. In a clip shared online, trouble started after the officers allegedly switched off the public address system as the MP addressed a crowd. The officer's plea to be heard fell on deaf ears as the MP started shoving him to leave the venue. His colleague tried to intervene and explain to the MP and the crowd that the officer was acting on instructions. All the while, the senior officer, clad in jungle military fatigue, kept his cool and occasionally smiled even amid the hostile reception.
