Hundreds of Santas are set to work overtime to raise money for Thames Hospice on top of their gift-giving duties this winter. Take a jog, walk or run around Swinley Forest in Bracknell and join hundreds of others to support the hospice. Dashers can choose to walk or run a 2k or 5k route – or a longer 10k running route. Prices are: adult ticket with a Santa suit, £20; wear your own outfit, £15; children’s ticket (under 14), including reindeer antlers, £7.50. Thames Hospice trustee Bruce Montgomery is one of many people taking part this year and hopes to raise over £2,000.
